Cheryl Chan is the Group Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer and President New Ventures of ST Engineering, a global technology, defence and engineering group with a diverse portfolio of businesses across the aerospace, smart city, defence and public security segments.

Cheryl is responsible for leading the Group’s strategic planning and M&A activities, and its corporate venture capital unit. On sustainability, she develops and drives the Group’s ESG roadmap and action plans, as well as works closely with the Group’s businesses to incorporate sustainability considerations into business strategies. In the New Ventures, she drives the capture of new business ventures in adjacent domains and helps to identify and create new Group opportunities across Business Areas by building on existing capabilities and strengths.
